Yamaha Motor India has kicked off the new year with the launch of the 2022 FZS-FI range priced from Rs. 1.16 lakh onwards for the standard variant, going up to Rs. 1.19 lakh for the FZS-FI Dlx variant. All prices are ex-showroom, Delhi. The motorcycle arrives with refreshed styling while the Dlx variant is a new addition to the line-up. The 2022 Yamaha FZS-FI and FZS-FI Dlx will be available at all the authorized Yamaha dealerships from the second week of January 2022. The bike competes with the Hero Xtreme 160R, TVS Apache RTR 160 4V, Bajaj Pulsar NS160, Honda X- Blade, and the likes.

The FZS-FI Dlx variant will enhance the premium appeal of the FZ model range further as the all-LED lighting setup makes the FZS-FI Dlx & FZS-FI more modern, and the striking color combinations on the FZS-FI Dlx with LED Flashers truly reflect the global spirit of Yamaha Racing.”
For 2022, the Yamaha FZS-FI comes with LED taillights with the addition of LED flashers on the Dlx variant. The model also comes in three new colors – Metallic Black, Metallic Deep Red, and Solid Gray. The new range-topping variant also gets new rich graphics, colored alloy wheels, a step-up style single seat with dual-tone colours. Meanwhile, the standard 2022 FZS-FI gets two colors – Matte Red and Matte Blue.

On the powertrain front, the 2022 Yamaha FZS-FI continues with the same 149 cc single-cylinder BlueCore engine that develops 12.2 bhp at 7,250 rpm and 13.3 Nm of peak torque at 5,500 rpm. The motor is paired with a 5-speed gearbox. On the feature front, both variants of the FZS-FI get Bluetooth-enabled Connect-X App that offers Answer Back, Locate my Vehicle, Parking Record & Hazard, and Riding History information. The bike continues to sport single-channel ABS, an LCD instrument cluster, LED headlight, a tire hugging rear mudguard, and a lower engine guard.
