Most of the people who use iPhone will not even remember what was in the box of iPhone 1. When Apple co-founder Steve Jobs unveiled the iPhone in June 2007, he described it as an iPod, a phone, and an Internet communicator.
Now YouTuber MKBHD has captured the iPhone in an auction. According to him, to get the iPhone 1, he had to pay 40 thousand dollars i.e. about 32 lakh rupees. He did all this for the unboxing of the iPhone. The special thing is that MKBHD was holding a sealed packed iPhone, which is very rare and unboxing it would have reduced the price of the iPhone.
In his video, YouTuber told that the cost of iPhone was very high. The packaging was a bit lacking, but all the equipment inside was untouched, meaning it hadn’t been touched for 16 years. It can be seen in the video that the iPhone is covered with plastic, which is not the case with today’s iPhones.
Remember that the iPhone 1 had a 3.5-inch display. After the launch of the phone, many shortcomings were also exposed by the people, on which Apple later worked. It can be seen in the video that the iPhone box also has earphones, stickers and user manual. The charger and charging cable are also visible in the box. ‘iPhone 1’ was launched for $499 i.e. around 41 thousand rupees.
