The company is touting the Acer Spin 7 running Windows 10 as the world’s thinnest convertible notebook. This laptop is completely made of aluminum unibody, whose thickness is 10.98 mm. Its weight is 1.2 kg. The display of the laptop can be rotated 360 degrees, which converts the laptop into a tablet. At the launch, the company said that this laptop has a 14-inch Full HD (1920×1080 pixels) IPS touchscreen display that can be mounted in a 13-inch laptop-sized cover.
The Acer Spin 7 packs a seventh-generation Intel Core i7-7Y75 processor, 8GB of LPDDR3 RAM, a 256GB SATA III SSD, and two USB Type-C (USB v3.1) ports. It has Wi-Pie 802.11 ac connectivity, a memory card reader and a 2770mAh 4-cell battery that is claimed to offer up to 8 hours of battery life. Apart from this, this laptop comes with Dolby Audio Premium Technology.
