Airtel’s two prepaid plans upgrade, will get life insurance of Rs 4 lakh

Airtel has made changes to its two prepaid plans. After the upgrade, more data will be available, along with this, subscribers will get life insurance in one plan. The prepaid plan of Rs 129 will get 2 GB data every day and now it will be available in the open market. Earlier this prepaid plan was available only for select users. Apart from this, only 1 GB data was available. Subscribers will get life insurance of Rs 4 lakh in the Rs 249 Airtel prepaid plan. For this, Airtel has partnered with HDFC Life and Bharti AXA.

Let’s start with the Rs 129 prepaid plan. Airtel will now give 2 GB data per day in this plan. Apart from this, there will be facility to send unlimited voice calls and 100 SMS per day. The validity of this plan is 28 days. Subscribers are also getting free subscription to Airtel TV and Wynk Music from Airtel. Earlier this plan had the facility of unlimited voice calls, 1 GB 4G data and sending 100 SMS per day. But this facility is only for selected users. But some users were given 220 minutes of local and STD calls for 28 days. It is not so now. Airtel’s Rs 129 prepaid plan is now available to every customer with new features on Airtel’s website and Airtel Thanks app.

Changes have also been made in the prepaid plan of Rs 249. Users will get the same data and calling facility as before. Now subscribers will get a life cover of Rs 4 lakh from Airtel. Life insurance will be provided by HDFC Life or Bharti AXA. Apart from this, premium subscription of Airtel TV is available. 2,000 cashback will be available on the purchase of a new 4G phone. Airtel’s prepaid plan of Rs 249 will provide 2 GB data per day, unlimited calls and 100 SMS per day. The validity will be of 28 days. This plan is also live on Airtel’s website and Airtel Thanks app.

Telecom Talk was the first to tell about the changes made in both these plans. The age of the Airtel subscriber should be between 18 to 54 years for the insurance cover. To continue getting this facility, regular monthly recharge will have to be done.
