There may be a huge reduction in the production of iPhone this year. Worker unrest and sabotage over poor conditions at Foxconn’s factory in Zhengzhou, China, which does contract manufacturing for Apple, has had a major impact on production. Due to this, the production of iPhone Pro may decrease by about 6 million units this year. Production will depend on getting Foxconn workers back on the assembly lines soon and the lockdown imposed due to Corona. Most of the iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max are produced in this factory. Both these smartphones have been the most sought after for Apple this year. Apple also produces iPhone in China and India. The company has started manufacturing some models of its new iPhone 14 series in India.
