Apple has been trying to diversify its manufacturing for years amid the trade war between China and the US and rising labor costs in China. Recent protests in the country over stricter Covid regulations forced Apple to cut production of the iPhone 14 last month, leading to shipping delays.

Apple told in the official statement that it is excited to produce the iPhone 14 in India. In such a situation, now the manufacturing of iPhone 14 Pro can also be taken to India.

According to the report, there may be some problems for Apple to come to India. Problems may arise due to the lack of experience people making iPad-like devices in India and the growing dispute between China and India. According to the report, about 20,000 workers have left the job from Zhengzhou based Foxconn plant in China. The workers were not happy with the working conditions here, which later turned violent. In view of such problems, the company is now planning to shift the production to another place.

Apple has already been manufacturing several iPhones in India. iPhone 12, iPhone 13 and iPhone SE are made in the country only. India is one of the largest markets in the world for Apple’s iPhone. In such a situation, if the company decides to make these products in the country itself, then India can benefit greatly from this. At the same time, the price of the products is also expected to come down.
