As always, we have included in the list only those handsets which have been reviewed. Because the performance of a phone cannot be judged by the specification alone. Apart from this, phones older than one year have not been included.
Here is the list of five best smartphones under Rs 10,000
Xiaomi Redmi 4 8/10
Yu Yureka Black 8/10
Lenovo K6 Power 8/10
Moto G4 7/10
Coolpad Note 3S 7/10
1. Xiaomi Redmi 4
For the past one year, Xiaomi Redmi 3S Prime has been a constant part of our list. But now Xiaomi Redmi 4 has taken its place. If you have a budget of Rs 10,000 then this is a great option.
In our review, the phone with 3 GB / 32 GB variants got 8 out of 10 rating points. The battery life of the new phone is excellent. You will also like its slick and compact design. The camera is disappointing, but this is a problem with every smartphone in the Rs 10,000 price range. If you are looking for a value for money smartphone then Xiaomi Redmi 4 is a great option.
2. You Eureka Black
The past one year was a blur for the brand U Televentures. But the company has made a comeback. Yu Yureka Black is a great option for this price range. The display is a bit disappointing, but in the rest of the department it justifies its price tag. It is also an all rounder handset.
The Yu Yureka Black looks good and has a solid battery life. If you are looking for a phone that is made for all purposes, then this is a great option in the price range of Rs 10,000.
3. Lenovo K6 Power
It is one of the best smartphones introduced in the past. Despite being old, the claim of Lenovo K6 Power has not weakened. Performance is decent and battery life has to be said to be strong.
Its display and camera also got good ratings in the review. But times have changed. Still, the Lenovo K6 Power is a great option. It is not that this Lenovo phone completely beats the rest of the phones included in this list. But it is a good option and it recently got the Android 7.0 Nougat update as well. While most of the phones still come with Android Marshmallow. Apart from this, it is also very easy to buy it.
4. Moto G4
The Moto G4, available under Rs 10,000, is also a good smartphone. But the camera will be a disappointment. Well, this complaint is common for this price range. However, the display is good and the performance is decent. It is also great looking.
Battery life and Motorola’s user interface go in its favor. But fingerprint sensor will be missed, as most of the phones in this price range come with this feature.
5. Coolpad Note 3S
Coolpad Note 3S was launched in late 2016. It also delivers decent performance in every department. The unique looks and the camera performance in daylight work in its favor.
It doesn’t manage to make it to the top because of poor battery life and average performance. But the difference is not that much. If you like the design and UI, then this is a great option in the price range of Rs 10,000.
other options
Apart from these phones, there are some handsets which can be considered. Micromax Canvas 6 Pro is not a bad option. RAM is more, but battery life and camera will disappoint. This phone also gets hot, due to which it could not be a part of our list.
By the way, there are two phones in the Rs 10,000 price range that we haven’t reviewed, but we liked in the short time we spent during the launch event. We are talking about the Lyf F1s and the Moto C Plus. The specifications of both the phones are good and the price of the Moto C Plus is also tempting. The Nokia 3 is also fully capable of being a part of this list. But we are not suggesting it to you, as we have not reviewed it.
