BSNL made changes in Rs 551 prepaid recharge plan, now you will get full daily data

Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has made changes in its Rs 551 prepaid recharge plan. Now 5 GB daily data will be available in this plan. Yes, you read that right. This 5 GB data will be given to the user daily, but in this prepaid recharge plan of the telecom company working under the government, the user does not get any free voice calling benefits nor do they get free SMS. This is a data only prepaid recharge plan. This new change has been done in Calcutta, Jharkhand and Tamil Nadu circles. Remind that recently BSNL has also made changes in Rs 999 prepaid recharge plan and has increased the validity to 270 days. Similarly, BSNL had also extended the validity of 71 days in the Rs 1,999 prepaid recharge plan.

This BSNL prepaid plan comes with free Personal Ring Back Tone (PRBT) facility. Apart from this, even after the 5 GB daily data is over, users can do unlimited downloading, but the speed will be reduced to 80Kbps, which is low in terms of downloading, but browsing can be done comfortably.

The Rs 551 prepaid recharge plan is not completely new to BSNL’s portfolio as the company originally launched this plan in March 2018. Initially, this plan offered 1.5 GB high-speed data per day and free access to PRBT. The scheme was launched with Rs. 118 and Rs. 379.
