BSNL users will also get free calls and SMS on MTNL network

BSNL (Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited) has made changes to its prepaid recharge plans to offer “unlimited” voice calling and SMS benefits on MTNL (Mahanagar Telephone Nigam Limited) network. The new move is applicable on prepaid plans of BSNL, which start at Rs 97. This new offer is a result of the ongoing merger between BSNL and MTNL. Recall that the merger between the two companies was announced in October last year. Till now BSNL’s unlimited calling and SMS offer did not include MTNL network. But now after the new decision, BSNL customers will be able to avail free calls or SMS on MTNL network in Mumbai and Delhi circles as well.

Posted by BSNL Chennai Division circular According to , the new revision is applicable to a total of 25 prepaid recharge plans, prepaid vouchers (PV) and first recharge vouchers (FRV). Now using BSNL prepaid recharge plans of Rs 99, Rs 104, Rs 349 and Rs 447 users can avail unlimited voice calling on MTNL network. All these plans come with 250 minutes of voice calls per day.

Apart from voice calling benefits, BSNL has also announced MTNL prepaid plans for Rs 97, Rs 118, Rs 187, Rs 199, Rs 247, Rs 298, Rs 349, Rs 399, Rs 447, Rs 499 and Rs 1,098 prepaid plans. It has also been decided to give 100 SMS messages per day on roaming. Along with this, these benefits are also applicable on PV and FRV of Rs 106, Rs 107, Rs 153, Rs 186, Rs 365, Rs 429, Rs 485, Rs 666, Rs 997, Rs 1,699 and Rs 1,999.
