The GT Prime Plus is a low-speed electric scooter with a top speed of 25kmph. It is designed for short distance travel. It gets either a 48V 28Ah lead acid battery or a 48V 26Ah lithium-ion battery. Its lead-acid model delivers a range of 50-60km on a single charge. Once fully charged, it takes 7 to 8 hours. Its lithium-ion version offers a higher range of 60-65km per charge. It also charges quickly. It takes 4 to 5 hours to charge.
The second scooter which is getting Diwali discount is GT Flying. It is also a low-speed scooter and comes in both lead-acid and lithium-ion avatars. Both its charging time and range are similar to GT Prime Plus. However, there is a big difference between them in terms of design. While the GT Prime looks like most modern scooters, the GT Flying sports a retro theme.
Both the scooters have a load capacity of 130 kg, but the GT Prime Plus weighs 85 kg and the GT Flying weighs 82 kg. Along with the difference in design also comes the difference in seat height and ground clearance. The seat height of GT Prime Plus is 730mm and ground clearance is 145mm. Whereas, the seat height of GT Flying is 760mm and ground clearance is 175mm. Both the scooters come with an 18-month motor warranty. Talking about the battery, there is a 1-year warranty for the lead-acid battery and 3-year warranty for the lithium-ion battery.
Price less than iPhone 12
The price of 128GB storage variant of Apple iPhone 12 on e-commerce site Amazon is Rs 53,490 after 25% discount. Accordingly, the price of GT Prime Plus is Rs 56,692 but after the discount, this scooter can now be bought for Rs 51,692. Similarly, GT Flying can now be bought at a discount of Rs 47,500, while the original price is Rs 52,500. In such a situation, the cost of both these electric scooters is less than the iPhone 12.
