news agency Reuters According, OpenAI has promised to give up to 20 thousand dollars to those users who will find bugs in this AI chatbot. The bug bounty program went live yesterday, Tuesday. People will be rewarded based on the severity of the bug they report, with rewards starting at $200 (roughly Rs. 16,412) per vulnerability.
Bug bounty programs are not a new concept. Often, technology companies reward programmers and ethical hackers for reporting bugs in their software systems. According to information available on the bug bounty platform Bugcrowd, OpenAI has invited researchers to review some of the functionality of ChatGPT and the framework for how OpenAI systems communicate and share data with third-party applications.
This program does not involve generating false or malicious content generated by OpenAI systems.
Let us tell you that recently ChatGPT was banned in Italy for suspected violation of privacy rules. Apart from this, it has also been banned in China. In China, all tech companies are banned for providing ChatGPT services on their platform.
Microsoft-backed OpenAI’s ChatGPT was launched in November and has taken the world by storm since its release. It answers users’ questions accurately and very quickly. However, it has also made many mistakes, due to which it has also come under criticism.
