Huawei’s sub-brand Honor has recently launched the Honor 8C smartphone in the Indian market. Many smartphones of Xiaomi and Realme brands are quite popular in the budget up to Rs 15,000. To compete with brands like Xiaomi and Realme, Honor 8C has been launched with an initial price of Rs 11,999. The Honor 8C smartphone sports a 19:9 display panel with a traditional notch, a Snapdragon 632 processor, and a Face Unlock feature that uses AI for the front camera. On Wednesday, November 28, Oppo’s sub-brand Realme launched the Realme U1 smartphone equipped with the MediaTek Helio P70 processor in India. The handset has a 6.3-inch Waterdrop Notch display equipped with 19.5: 9 aspect ratios and a 25-megapixel front sensor for selfies. How different are Honor 8C and Realme U1 from each other, let’s understand on the basis of price and specification.

Honor 8C vs Realme U1 price in India

Honor 8C K 4 GB RAM and 32 GB storage variants will be sold for Rs 11,999. Its 64 GB storage variant will be available for Rs 12,999. Both the variants will be available in Aurora Blue, Magic Night Black, Platinum Gold and Nebula Purple colours. The sale of Honor 8C will begin exclusively on e-commerce site Amazon India and HiHonor Store from December 10.

realme u1 The starting price is Rs 11,999. A variant with 3 GB RAM and 32 GB storage will be sold at this price. There is also a variant of the phone with 4 GB RAM and 64 GB storage, which has been priced at Rs 14,499. The sale of the phone will start exclusively on Amazon India from December 5. This phone will be available in Blue, Black and Gold colors.

Honor 8C vs Realme U1 Specifications

Dual-SIM Honor 8C Out of Box will run on EMUI 8.2 based on Android 8.1 Oreo. It features a 6.26-inch HD+ (720×1520 pixels) TFT LCD IPS display. Aspect ratio is 19:9. The octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 632 processor has been used in the smartphone. Adreno 506 GPU is integrated for graphics. 4 GB RAM is available for speed. There are two options for inbuilt storage – 32 GB and 64 GB. Both variants will support microSD card up to 256 GB.

There is LED flash with it. The company has informed that Realme U1 comes with Portrait Lightning, Slow Mo Video, AI Scene Detection and Bokeh Effect. The phone also has AI Face Unlock feature.

A 25-megapixel camera with F / 2.0 aperture has been given on the front panel. The company has talked about having a backlight mode feature in the selfie camera. Apart from this, there is also mention of having AI Beauty + mode. With the Smarter Groupie feature, users can enjoy customized beautification of multiple subjects in a single photo.
