The price of Nokia 7.1 starts at 299 euros (approximately Rs 25,300) and goes up to 349 euros (approximately Rs 29,600). However, this will also depend on the market. The phone has been launched in Gloss Midnight Blue and Gloss Steel color colors. As of now, nothing has been said about making it available in India.
On the other hand, the price of Nokia 6.1 Plus is Rs 15,999. In the market, it has been made available in Gloss Black, Gloss Midnight Blue and Gloss White colors. The handset is sold exclusively on e-commerce site Flipkart and Nokia’s own website.

The dual-SIM smartphones Nokia 7.1 and Nokia 6.1 Plus run on the stock version of Android 8.1 Oreo. Both are part of the Android One program. Nokia 7.1 will get Android 9.0 Pie update next month, while Nokia 6.1 Plus is reported to get this update only in October.
Nokia 7.1 has a 5.84-inch full-HD + (1080×2280 pixels) PureDisplay panel. Its aspect ratio is 19: 9. At the same time, in Nokia 6.1 Plus, you will get a 19: 9 aspect ratio display equipped with full-HD + (1080×2280 pixels) resolution, whose dimension is 5.8 inches. Both the smartphones come with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. Nokia 7.1 has real time SDR to HDR conversion feature.
The octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 processor has been used in both the smartphones. There is only one variant of Nokia 6.1 Plus which is with 4 GB RAM / 64 GB inbuilt storage. At the same time, the recently launched Nokia 7.1 has two variants based on RAM and storage – 3 GB RAM / 32 GB storage and 4 GB RAM / 64 GB storage. Both the smartphones support microSD card up to 400 GB.
The Nokia 7.1 and Nokia 6.1 Plus have a dual camera setup at the back. However, the sensors are different. Nokia 7.1 has a primary sensor of 12 megapixels. It comes with autofocus and f/1.8 aperture. Jugalambadi has a 5-megapixel fixed focus sensor. Its aperture is F / 2.4. The rear camera setup comes with Carl Zeiss optics, electronic image stabilization and two-phase detection. On the other hand, Nokia 6.1 Plus comes with dual rear camera setup. The primary sensor is 16 megapixels and the second sensor is 5 megapixels. Nokia 7.1 has an 8-megapixel fixed focus front sensor equipped with F / 2.0 aperture. It is equipped with 84 degree field of view. The Nokia 6.1 Plus has a 16-megapixel selfie camera.
The battery of Nokia 7.1 and Nokia 6.1 Plus is 3,060 mAh. The battery of Nokia 7.1 supports 18W fast charging. It claims to give 50 percent charge in about 30 minutes. The Nokia 6.1 Plus handset supports 10W fast charging. Both the phones have a fingerprint sensor on the back and there is also a Face Unlock feature to unlock the handset.
Talking about connectivity, both the smartphones support 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 AC, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS / A-GPS, GLONASS, USB Type-C and 3.5mm headphone jack. The Nokia 7.1 has NFC, but the Nokia 6.1 does not have this feature. The dimensions of the Nokia 7.1 are 149.7×71.19×7.99 millimeters and weighing 159 grams. On the other hand, the dimensions of the Nokia 6.1 Plus are 147.2×70.98×7.99mm and weighing 151 grams.
