Twitter is getting the seek button
Musk said Twitter would include 15-second forward and back seek buttons during video playback. Musk gave this information while replying to a tweet in which a user had asked Twitter owner to add 15 second forward and back seek button.

Musk said “coming next week, with pic in pic, so you can watch the video while you scroll.” He said that there will be picture-in-picture mode for users to watch videos so that they can scroll while watching videos. Picture-in-picture (PiP) mode separates a video player into a floating window and usually places it in a corner so that scrolling is not affected.
Twitter users have issued their response on Twitter regarding this new change, some of whose tweets are as follows.
One user commented “Thanks. That’s exactly the feature I want too, that’s what I was thinking of missing.”
Another user wrote, “Thanks, I skip a lot of videos because of this.”
Another user wrote that “all these suggestions are enough” make it as good as youtube “I wonder how much it would cost to clone youtube’s features, maybe now it is economical to code with AI”.
Apart from longer videos, the micro-blogging site also revealed that it will soon introduce video and voice call features on the platform. Musk announced that Direct Messages (DMs) are now encrypted for Twitter Blue users. By default, the encryption function is not activated and users must actively opt-in to use it. Musk promised new features on Twitter last year when he talked about making Twitter an all-in-one app.
