Both the new Blackberry Android smartphones come with attractive specifications. These phones run on Android 6.0 Marshmallow, on top of which the company’s customizable skin has been given. The DTEK50 and DTEK60 smartphones have been touted by BlackBerry as the ‘world’s most secure Android smartphones’, promising security updates.
The BlackBerry DTEK50 will be available in India from this week itself, while the Blackberry DTEK60 will go on sale in December. Both the new BlackBerry Android smartphones share many of the same specifications. For example, an 8-megapixel front camera with F / 2.2 aperture and 84-degree wide-angle lens has been given. Apart from this, there are accelerometer, ambient light sensor, gyroscope, magnetometer and proximity sensor. Single-SIM micro-SIM card support has been given in both these smartphones. Apart from this, both phones can increase up to 2 TB via microSD card.
If you look at the difference between the two phones, the BlackBerry DTEK50 sports a 5.2-inch Full HD (1080×1920 pixels) display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 617 processor, 3GB of RAM, a 13MP rear camera, 16GB of inbuilt storage, 4G LTE (with support for Indian LTE bands). Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11 ac, FM radio, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS/ GPS, NFC, and 2610mAh non-removable battery. Its dimensions are 147×72.5×7.4 millimeters and weighing 135 grams.
BlackBerry DTEK60 features 5.5-inch QuadHD (1440×2560 pixels) display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor, 4GB RAM, 21MP rear camera, 32GB inbuilt storage, 4G LTE (with support for Indian LTE bands), Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 4.2 , GPS/ A-GPS, NFC and 3000mAh non-removable battery. Its dimensions are 153.9×75.4×7 millimeters and weighing 165 grams.
