However, most of the specifications of the Moto G5 and Moto G5 Plus were leaked before the official launch. We will tell you about the top five features of these new devices.
1) Google Assistant
Support for the Google Assistant feature has been provided in the Moto G5 and Moto G5 Plus smartphones. Google’s artificial intelligence-based digital assistant was earlier limited to Pixel smartphones only. Google Assistant has been praised by critics as well as users for its ability to give precise answers to questions and understand information. Google Assistant is being considered as a rival of Apple’s Siri. And due to the continuous improvement over time, it is believed that it will be better in the coming times.
2) camera
While the Moto G5 Plus sports a 12-megapixel camera, the Moto G5 sports a 13-megapixel rear camera. The company claims that the Plus variant has ‘the most advanced’ rear camera setup with aperture F / 1.7, dual autofocus, 4K video recording and dual LED flash. On the other hand, the rear camera setup of the Moto G5 smartphone comes with PDAF, aperture f/2.0, and dual-LED flash. The smaller screen variant has a 5-megapixel wide-angle front camera for taking selfies.
3) Moto Display
Both the smartphones come with the company’s Moto Display, which allows users to preview notifications without even unlocking their phones. This feature comes in handy when users want to stay up-to-date without having to unlock their device.
4) One Button Nav
The Moto G5 and Moto G5 Plus smartphones come with a One Button Nav feature, which allows users to navigate through the screen using the fingerprint scanner on the phone. It seems that the company has given this button to make the phone more convenient to use without having to drag your thumb or finger to navigate through the screen every time.
5) Moto Actions
With Moto Actions, users can access their most frequently used features with simple gestures without ever having to touch a button. You can twist the smartphone to open the camera app or press down twice to turn on the flashlight.
The Moto G5 is priced at Euro 199 (roughly Rs. 14,000) for the 2GB RAM/ 16GB variant and the Moto G5 Plus is priced at Euro 229 (roughly Rs. 15,300) for the 2GB RAM/ 32GB variant.
