In the post, Google has said that if you are thinking that there is nothing to watch on TV, then Google TV asks you to think again. Google TV comes with over 800 free channels from various providers. From breaking news to classic re-runs, there’s something here for everyone!
Under the service, Google is bringing channels from Tubi, Plex and Haystack News directly to the Live tab. Apart from this, the company is also going to add its own built-in free channels, which will not require any download or any app launch. Google is going to give a new direction to TV through the new Live TV Experience. This new live TV experience will be available on all Google TV devices in the US. Under the new Live TV experience, users will be able to tune in to channels in more than 10 languages including Spanish, Japanese, Hindi. Also, you will be able to use the Live tab to watch YouTube TV, Sling TV or over the air channels. However, this will require a premium live TV subscription.
New TV guide will give easy access to all free TV channels. This will make browsing very easy and you will be able to easily find the content you want to watch. Google is soon going to bring this new TV experience on Android devices as well. The company has said that by the end of the year, it is also going to bring its new TV guide and free channels to eligible Android TV devices.
