Jio GigaFiber Broadband service commercially available from September 5, price starts from Rs 700

Reliance Jio’s fiber broadband service will be made commercially available on 5 September. This information was given by the company’s CEO Mukesh Ambani in the general annual meeting of Reliance Industries. Jio Fiber broadband service was launched only last year. But till now its beta testing was happening. The price of Jio Fiber Broadband service will start from Rs 700 onwards. Voice calls will be free forever for users using Jio Gigafiber Broadband connection.

Mukesh Ambani, head of Reliance Industries, told that Jio GigaFiber broadband service was launched about a year ago. During this, the company received about 15 million registrations from 1600 cities across the country. The company has connected about 5 lakh homes with its broadband internet service. That is, testing of this service of Jio is going on in 5 lakh homes. Now Jio Fiber broadband service will be available for common customers from 5th September.

Jio Fiber Broadband Service Price and Offers

The price of this internet service of Jio will start from Rs 700 and it will go up to Rs 10,000. Customers using Jio GigaFiber connection will be able to make unlimited voice calls. Roaming calls will be available at very affordable rates. Mukesh Ambani has told that the detailed details of the prices will be released on 5 September. Apart from this, customers who choose Jio Fiber’s annual plan will be given an HD / 4K LED TV and 4K set-top box free of cost by the company.

The Jio Fiber broadband connection will come with subscriptions to multiple content platforms. Apart from this, in the Annual General Meeting of Reliance Industries, Mukesh Ambani has informed that the company will add First Day First Show movie screening service in the middle of 2020 with Jio broadband connection. With its help, users will be able to watch any movie at their home on the day of its release. It will be available for premium customers of Jio.
