The price and availability of this handset has also been disclosed in many markets. In some countries of Europe, the price of this smartphone will be 699 Euro (about Rs 52,300). Pre-order booking of this handset started in the US from Wednesday. The smartphone will be available in the US from August 19, while pre-order bookings in European countries will start from August 16.
Samsung Galaxy Note7 is expected to be launched in India on 11th August. At present, its price in the Indian market has not been disclosed.

The Samsung Galaxy Note7 is a smartphone with great features and specifications. It features a 5.7-inch QuadHD (1440×2560 pixels) dual-edge Super AMOLED display. An S Pen stylus will also be available with this. It will come with Snapdragon 820 or Exynos 8890 chipset. The choice of processor will depend on the region. It is accompanied by 4GB of LPDDR4 RAM. Iris scanner is also present in it. This is the first time this feature has been made a part of any Samsung smartphone.

1. Iris scanner
As we already mentioned that Iris scanner is present in this smartphone. Samsung had previously used the iris scanner in the Galaxy Tab Iris tablet. However, this is Samsung’s first smartphone equipped with an iris scanner. Users can unlock their smartphones using the iris scanner. The company says that it is more secure than the fingerprint scanner. Interestingly, the Galaxy Note7 also has a fingerprint sensor.
2. Upgraded S Pen
Samsung’s S Pen Stylus has become the identity of the Galaxy Note series. But this time the company has released a huge upgrade. The stylus has got IP68 certification, which means it is also dust and water resistant. Its point is also smaller than the previous pen. The pressure sensitivity has also been increased in the S Pen. Now it will be able to recognize 4096 level pressure points. Using the software that comes with the stylus, users will be able to create GIF images from videos.
3. Samsung Cloud
Samsung also took the wraps off its cloud service at the Galaxy Note7 launch event. It will be possible to take advantage of this service of the company with the Galaxy Note 7 smartphone. Samsung will provide 15GB of free storage to the customers of this phablet to back up their data. Apart from backup, many things related to data, apps, settings and layout can be done through cloud service.
4. Corning Gorilla Glass 5
Samsung Galaxy Note7 is the first smartphone to come with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. This glass was introduced last month. It has been claimed that this is the strongest glass ever made. The company has told that nothing happened to Corning Gorilla Glass 5 four out of five times when it was dropped from a height of 1.6 meters during the internal lab test. Corning said the new glass was drop-tested on a variety of surfaces, including rough surfaces.
5. HDR Streaming
The latest phablet in Samsung’s Galaxy Note series will be the first handset to support content streaming in High Dynamic Range or HDR. The South Korean company has partnered with Amazon to bring HDR streaming to the Samsung Galaxy Note7. To make this possible, the company has incorporated the technology used in televisions into mobile phone chipsets.
