The 1.5GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 617 chipset has been used in the Moto G4 and Moto G4 Plus. Adreno 405 GPU is integrated for graphics. The 1.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor has been used in the Moto G4 Play. Adreno 306 GPU is present for graphics.

In India, models of Moto G4 Plus are available with 2 GB and 3 GB RAM. Whereas, the Moto G4 and Moto G4 Play only have a 2 GB RAM model.
In the Moto G4 Plus, customers get the option to choose between 16GB and 32GB of storage. Whereas, the Moto G4 and Moto G4 Play come with 16GB of storage. You will be able to use microSD card up to 128 GB in all three smartphones.
