Lava launches affordable 5G smartphone, price can be up to Rs 10,000

Indian handset company Lava has launched its first affordable smartphone Blaze 5G. It is an extension of Blaze Pro launched last month. Pre-booking for this will be started this month. The company has not given information about its price. However, it can go up to around Rs 10,000.

Communications Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw said this on Monday at the India Mobile Congress (IMC). handset launched. It has 4GB of RAM with MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC. There is also an option of 3RAM virtual RAM in the handset. It has 128GB of internal storage. Blaze 5G runs on Android 12. Lava has used the same camera as the Blaze Pro. Its features include 50MP main lens and 2MP VGA sensor. It has an 8MP front camera. Its battery is 5,000mAh similar to the Blaze Pro. The Blaze 5G features a 6.5-inch HD+ display with Widevine L1 support and 90Hz refresh rate. Lava International Limited said that the company wanted to develop an affordable 5G smartphone in the country. This product will provide services related to Next Generation 5G technology to the customers at an affordable price.

The company’s Lava Blaze Pro, launched last month, has dual SIM and 4G connectivity. This smartphone has a 6.5-inch IPS display, which has a resolution of HD +, 20: 9 aspect ratio and 90Hz refresh rate. This smartphone works on MediaTek Helio G37 SoC. For storage, it has 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage, which can be expanded up to 256GB with a microSD card. This smartphone has a 50-megapixel AI triple rear camera.

The price of 4GB RAM + 64GB storage variant of Lava Blaze Pro is Rs 10,499. Lava Blaze Pro works on Android 12. For display, it has a 6.5-inch 2.5D curved IPS display that supports HD+ 720×1600 pixel resolution, 90Hz refresh rate, and 20:9 aspect ratio. This display has a waterdrop notch style selfie camera. It works on the Octa Core MediaTek Helio G37 SoC. For storage, it has 4GB RAM and 64GB storage. Along with this, there is also 3GB of virtual RAM.
