The 5-inch display of the Z2 Plus has a resolution of 1080×1920 pixels. The display is sharp and the text looks crisp. However, its brightness was less than our expectation. The display looks a bit tired in sunlight. There is no branding on the front panel of the Z2 Plus. Lenovo logo is present on the back side. Below the display is an imported home button with an integrated fingerprint sensor. The power and volume buttons are on the right side and are easily accessible with the thumb.
Curved glass has been used on the rear panel, which gives a good feel to the hands. However, it slips a lot in the hands. The two SIM slots are on the right side. At the bottom, you will find speaker grille, 3.5mm audio jack and USB Type-C charging port.

In Lenovo Z2 Plus, the company has used a slightly modified version of Android 6.0 Marshmallow. Lenovo has made Google Now Launcher the default launcher for the Indian market. User can change the launcher.
Lenovo also mentioned about the inbuilt U-Health app at the launch event. The Z2 Plus has a gyroscope, compass sensor, accelerometer, light sensor and proximity sensor besides a pedometer. Lenovo has tried to make the Z2 Plus a fitness and activity tracking device through all these sensors. The U-Health app can be easily tracked with any fitness tracking device.
Dual SIM Z2 Plus has VoLTE feature with 4G, which means you will be able to take advantage of the services of Reliance Jio with it. Lenovo told how people leave the phone to charge all night. Equipped with a 3500mAh battery, the phone has a charge cut-off feature, which will ensure that the battery does not overcharge.
The 13-megapixel rear camera has an isocell sensor, PDAF (phase detection autofocus), electronic image stabilization, f / 2.2 aperture and LED flash. Like other expensive Android smartphones, you will be able to record 4K videos with the Z2 Plus. It is equipped with slow-motion video and full-HD time lapse. The company has used 2.15 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 chipset in the handset. With this, you will have the option to choose between 3 GB RAM + 32 GB storage and 4 GB RAM + 64 GB storage. Storage cannot be increased. In the limited time we spent with the phone, we found that there was no problem in multitasking. And it responded well to touch input. Lenovo Z2 Plus 3 GB RAM + 32 GB storage variant has been launched in India for Rs 17,999. At the same time, a variant of 4 GB RAM + 64 GB storage will be available for Rs 19,999. It will be available in Black and White color variants from Sunday midnight.
