Lexus RX 350h 500h Unveiled Auto Expo 2023 Electrified Turbo Hybrid Powertrain 366 Horsepower Specifications Features Details

The ongoing Auto Expo 2023 in the country has seen automobile giants showcasing their vehicles and technology, one of which is Lexus, which today introduced the all-new RX lineup in the country. The new lineup from Lexus India includes two powertrains – the RX 350h Luxury Hybrid and the RX 500h F-Sport Performance. The company says that the new RX lineup has been developed on the “Alluring x Verve” design concept.

As we said, the Lexus RX 350h is a luxury hybrid car, which gets a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine. This engine is mated to a hybrid transaxle and a rear E-Four electric motor. Together, this powertrain can generate maximum power of 247hp. It gets a special electronically controlled transmission and an AWD layout. The company claims that the car can accelerate from 0–100 km/h in 7.9 seconds.

Coming to the Lexus RX 500h F-Sport Performance, this model comes with a 2.4-litre turbocharged engine and an e-axle rear unit. The brand claims that it is the most powerful RX model ever, generating 366hp and 460Nm of torque. The model comes mated to a 6-speed automatic transmission and is capable of accelerating from 0–100 km/h in 6.2 seconds.

The RX line-up gets Lexus Safety System (LSS) 3.0 which includes Pre Collision System (PCS) with vehicle detection, dynamic radar cruise control for all speed ranges, lane departure alert (LDA) etc. In addition, it also gets Auto High Beam (AHB) headlamps. Blind Spot Monitor (BSM) and Safe Exit Assist Technology (SEA) have also been included in this.
