Mahindra Thar LX diesel variant becomes expensive by so many thousand rupees! know new price

The RWD model of the Mahindra Thar was launched in January 2023. The company launched it at an initial price of Rs 9.99 lakh. It offers three variants in the model which include AX Diesel, LX Diesel and LX Petrol. Now the company has increased the price of its LX diesel variant. The AX RWD variant comes at Rs 9.99 lakh. There has been no change in its price. Whereas, its LX petrol model comes for Rs 13.49 lakh. There has been no change in its price either. The company has increased the price of LX diesel by Rs 50,000.

Mahindra has increased the price of its Thar LX diesel variant. This variant has now become costlier by Rs 50,000. That is, if you are thinking of buying this model of Mahindra, then you should know its new price. At the time of launch, the company had introduced this model for Rs 10.99 lakh. If you want to buy it now, you will have to spend Rs 11.49 lakh.

Design of Mahindra Thar 2WD

Talking about the design and look, two colors like Blazing Bronze and Everest White are available in Mahindra Thar 2WD. These colors are in addition to the previously available options which include Red Rage, Galaxy Grey, Napoli Black and Aqua Marine. Apart from the 4×4 badging, the rest of the look remains the same.

Mahindra Thar 2WD Engine, Power

Talking about the engine and power, Mahindra has introduced a new engine this time. The diesel variant of Mahindra Thar has been given a new D117 CRDe engine with RWD range which generates power of 117 BHP and torque of 300 Nm. However, the petrol variant will get the same 2.0-litre mStallion turbo-petrol engine that produces 150bhp and 320Nm of torque. It comes only with 6 speed automatic unit. The variant now gets an advanced Electronic Brake Locking Differential. It is best for off-roading lovers who want to have a new experience.
