A man in India ordered bread from a grocery ordering app and found a live rat in his bread packet. Yes, you read it right, a person named Nitin Arora shared the pictures of this incident on social media, on which the reply of grocery ordering app Blinkit has also come. Nitin Arora recently reportedly ordered a packet of bread for himself through the Blinkit app. He received his order in no time, but he says that inside the packet of bread he received was a mouse, that too alive.

Nitin Arora also shared a tweet giving information about the incident along with the photo of this bread packet on his Twitter handle. He also tagged Blinkit in this tweet. A video of the same incident was also shared by another user, in which it can be seen that there is a rat inside the packet of bread, which is alive and moving inside the packet. The entire incident reportedly happened on February 1, 2023.

Nitin Arora wrote in his tweet (translated) “Very bad experience with @letsblinkit, found a live rat inside a packet of bread ordered on 1.2.23. This is very dangerous. If such goods in 10 minutes delivery @blinkitcares I’d love to wait a few hours if it comes.” Better get the stuff yourself #blinkit #zomato.”

Along with this, he also shared a screenshot of his chat with Blinkit customer care executive, which shows the poor response received from the app. You can see this tweet below.

A Twitter user, who was probably present at the spot, shared a video of the incident in the comments section, in which the rat can be seen walking past the packet.
