Maruti Suzuki Alto K10 booking open, Rs. Book online sitting at home for 11,000

Maruti Suzuki has opened the booking for the latest model of its popular budget car Alto K10 from today and the good thing is that customers interested in buying this car can book it online sitting at home. Maruti Suzuki’s new Alto K10 can also be booked from the showroom of Maruti Suzuki Arena. For booking, customers will have to pay Rs 11,000. The car has been made equipped with many advanced features, which include a large 7-inch infotainment display with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, rear parking sensors, ABS, EBD, dual front airbags, etc.

The new Maruti Alto will be positioned above the Alto 800 and if media reports are to be believed, its expected price could start from Rs 3.99 lakh (ex-showroom). The car will be offered in a total of 12 variants, out of which 8 will be equipped with a manual transmission option, including STD, STD(O), LXI, LXI(O), VXI, VXI(O), VXI+ and VXI+(O) . Also, 4 variants will come with automatic transmission, including VXI, VXI(O), VXI+ and VXI+(O).

A CNG variant of the Alto K10 can also be introduced by Maruti Suzuki, as Maruti has been offering in most of its cars. The car will be offered in Solid White, Granite Grey, Silky White, Sizzling Red, Speedy Blue and Earth Gold color options.

TOI’s AccordingThe car is expected to power the next-gen Alto’s 1.0-litre, 3-cylinder NA petrol engine, which will be capable of producing 65.7 bhp power and 89 Nm of peak torque. A 5-speed manual transmission and an AMT will be offered. Furthermore, it is also reported that the new Alto K10 will be bigger than the current model. Its length is said to be 3,530mm, width 1,490mm, height 1,520mm and wheelbase 2,380mm.

Talking about the interiors, the new Alto K10 is reportedly expected to get a 7.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity. It could also include a digital instrument cluster, dual front airbags, reverse parking sensors and ABS with EBD.
