Talking about charging, the MG Comet EV gets a 3.3 kW charger, which claims to fully charge the car in 7 hours. At the same time, Tata claims that both the battery pack options of Tiago EV take around 6.9 to 8.7 hours to charge 10-100%. However, the MG Comet EV does not have fast charging capability unlike the Tata Tiago EV.
The Comet EV gets a rear mounted single electric motor, which generates maximum power of 42 PS and peak torque of 110 Nm. In contrast, the Tata Tiago EV gets a front-mounted electric motor. The Tiago produces 75 PS of maximum power and 114 Nm of peak torque output. According to the company’s claims, the long range version of the Tiago EV can accelerate from 0 to 60 km/h in 5.7 seconds.
