More data will now be available in BSNL’s Rs 198 prepaid plan

Government telecom company Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has made changes in its two prepaid special tariff vouchers. Now subscribers will get more data than before. Changes have been made in prepaid plans of Rs 47 and Rs 198. The company is trying to strongly challenge the products of Jio, Airtel and other telecoms. After the change, the prepaid recharge pack of Rs 198 will now get 2 GB data every day and the validity has also been almost doubled. BSNL had recently decided to extend the date of the bumper offer.

First of all, the Rs 198 BSNL prepaid plan. According to the report of Telecom Talk, 2 GB data will be available every day and the validity will be 54 days. Earlier, customers used to get 1.5 GB data in this pack. Apart from this, the validity was 28 days. BSNL has upgraded the plan. The validity has almost doubled. Earlier, a total of 42 GB data was available in this recharge pack. Now subscribers will get 108 GB data.

On the other hand, BSNL has also made changes to the Rs 47 prepaid plan. It now offers 1 GB data and unlimited local-STD calls. The validity of the pack is 9 days. Earlier no data was available in this plan. The subscriber had the facility of unlimited local-STD calls in all circles except Mumbai and Delhi. Earlier the validity of this plan was 11 days. That is, the company has given the data, but has reduced the validity by two days.

As we told you earlier, BSNL has extended its bumper offer. Now prepaid subscribers will be able to get the benefit till June 30. In the bumper offer, users get additional 2.21 GB data per day in select prepaid packs. This offer was earlier extended till 30 April. Now customers will get its benefit till June 30.
