Nokia 3310 (2017) first look

When HMD Global announced that the company will bring back the popular Nokia 3310 at MWC 2017. So the expectations and excitement about this feature phone were high. The new Nokia 3310 is priced at EUR 49 (roughly Rs. 3,500). And the phone managed to charm people with its modern look, while bringing back nostalgia (Snakes game and Nokia ringtones). We got our first glimpse of the new Nokia 3310 at the launch event and learn all about it in the video below.

The Nokia 3310 (2017) sports a completely new design. The phone brings back the memories of the original 3310 with curved edges and a sturdy build. The new curved screen window is designed for better sunlight legibility. This phone has new push buttons and uses a new UI with some features of the original phone. Nokia 3310 looks more beautiful with new color variants of Red, Yellow, Blue and Grey.

The Nokia 3310 (2017) sports a 2 megapixel rear camera. And its biggest feature is the presence of 3.5mm audio jack in the phone. Talking about other Nokia 3310 specifications, it has 2.4-inch QVGA display, 2G connectivity, and Nokia Series 30+ OS. The handset packs 16MB of storage which can be expanded up to 32GB via a microSD card. The phone packs a 1200mAh battery that is claimed to deliver up to 22 hours of talk time and 31 days of standby time.

In addition to bringing back the popular Nokia 3310, HMD Global has also optimized and updated the classic Snake game for the new 3310. The game will be available on the new version of Facebook’s Messenger app.
