PUBG Mobile experience in an entry-level smartphone

There is no problem in playing PUBG Mobile even on the high setting in the flagship smartphone, but the phone that comes between Rs 10,000 to Rs 20,000 has to play the game on the medium setting. If you look at phones with even lower prices, you will notice that the game is running on low settings such as Nokia 2.2 And LG W30 In. We found that the phone used to slow down a lot during the gameplay, which makes it difficult to play the game.

PUBG Mobile Lite

To get an idea of how low-end smartphones will handle PUBG Mobile Lite, we have compiled a list of popular processors offered in low-end smartphones. In this list there is Nokia 2.2 which is powered by MediaTek Helio A22 processor, Realme C2 (review) which is a MediaTek Helio P22 processor, Redmi Go Is (review) which is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 processor and Redmi 7A (review) which is equipped with Snapdragon 439 chipset.

The Redmi Go model is the most affordable smartphone in this list and is priced at Rs 4,499. It runs on Android Go software and has 1 GB RAM and 8 GB storage. PUBG Mobile takes 2 GB storage if it is compared with PUBG Mobile Lite then it takes only 491 MB storage. PUBG Mobile Lite is small and can be downloaded easily on all the smartphones we tested.

PUBG Mobile Lite experience on Redmi Go phone

We were a little surprised that even the Redmi Go can easily load PUBG Mobile Lite, even though it takes a little longer to load. The game took one minute and 16 seconds to load. There is no way to change graphics settings in PUBG Mobile Lite, so the game ran on the default setting. We did notice that the game was running a bit stuck and some textures also popped up on the device.

The pubg mobile light flashed on the Redmi Go and it was not a disappointing experience. After playing a full round the phone got a bit hot but it was not unbearable. After playing the game for 20 minutes, 9 percent battery was consumed. We were happy that the game can be played on a phone of Rs 4,499 and that too when the handset has 1 GB RAM.

PUBG Mobile Lite Experience in Nokia 2.2

The MediaTek Helio A22 processor used in the Nokia 2.2 is a common chipset in this price segment. When we reviewed the smartphone, we tried playing PUBG Mobile in the phone and we found that it was on a low setting by default. Apart from this, there was also audio lag due to which there was some problem in playing the game.

On the other hand, there was no problem playing PUBG Mobile Lite on Nokia 2.2. The game loaded without any problem and it took about 1 minute and 15 seconds for the game to load. Even in Nokia 2.2, the game ran on the default setting but sometimes the texture would pop-up. The gameplay was smoother in this handset as compared to Xiaomi Redmi Go. After playing pubg mobile lite for 25 minutes, the Nokia 2.2 got a little hot and consumed 5 percent of the battery, which is fine. We didn’t even have a problem with the audio.

PUBG Mobile Lite Experience in Realme C2

MediaTek Helio P22 processor has been used in Reality C2. This handset is capable of handling PUBG Mobile at low settings but it was not smooth.

PUBG Mobile Lite ran better and the game took 1 minute and 6 seconds to load. We tried playing the Lite version on the 3GB RAM variant of Rs 7,999 and the experience was smooth and neither texture popping was a problem. After playing PUBG Mobile Lite for 20 minutes, 4 percent battery was consumed.

PUBG Mobile Lite Experience in Redmi 7A

Redmi 7A is the fourth smartphone under Rs 8,000 in which we got to play PUBG Mobile Lite. This phone is equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 439 processor. We did encounter some problems with the texture rendering but nothing that should spoil the gaming experience. Redmi 7A loaded the game in just 54 seconds. We watched PUBG Mobile Lite playing on the phone for 20 minutes. After playing the game for 20 minutes, the battery was reduced by 4 percent and the phone was not too hot.

we experienced it

After testing PUBG Mobile Lite on these popular Android smartphones in the low-end segment, we were happy that the game can be played on the Redmi Go smartphone as well. It’s an affordable phone priced at Rs 4,499, though the experience wasn’t that great as games got stuck in between.

The experience was good with the MediaTek Helio A22 processor given in the Nokia 2.2. If your budget is around Rs 6,000, then you will get the Nokia 2.2 equipped with MediaTek Helio A22 chipset in this segment. Infinix Smart 3 Plus and Redmi 6A (review) Smartphone will also be available. Although, redmi 7a ,review) is also priced at Rs 5,999 and surely you will get a better PUBG Mobile Lite experience in this handset as well.
