RadExpand 5 foldable electric bike with a range of 72 km launched, know the price

Rad Power has launched a lightweight RadExpand 5 e-bike, which comes with a foldable design and its specialty is its launch range. This e-bike claims to have a range of 72 km in a single charge. The RadExpand 5 has a top speed of 32 kmph and weighs 28 kg. This is not the only e-bike in the Red Power fleet. This is the fifth e-bike from the company. Let’s know everything about it.

Gizmochina’s AccordingThe RadExpand 5 folding e-bike is priced at €1,499 (roughly Rs. 1.20 lakh). Talking about its availability, currently this e-bike will be sold in some parts of Europe. It will be available in two color options – Black and White.

Talking about the specifications, this electric bike from Rad Power is light weight. Its weight is only 28 kg. However, it gets fat tyres. Its handlebar is adjustable. According to the company, both these things together will make its riding experience smoother. The RadExpand 5 includes low-profile cadence sensing pedal assist as well as a half twist power assist throttle.

A Microshift TS71-7 shift lever helps in shifting between the seven gears of the e-bike. The e-bike includes mechanical disc brakes on both the wheels, which ensures better braking. The bike’s rear rack can carry up to 25 kg of load, while the e-bike can carry a total payload of 125 kg. It also gets LED lights for better visibility and safety, while rear view mirror, front basket and phone mount are also available as optional accessories.
