Xiaomi gave this information at the launch of Redmi Note 12 Turbo. Xiaomi’s subsidiary Redmi has sold more than two crore handsets in the last three months of this series. The company revealed that the Redmi Note 11 was among the top 10 best-selling smartphones worldwide last year. Last year it sold 1.8 crore units. The Redmi Note series devices are available in various price segments. The growth of the smartphone market is slowing down. Customers are using their old smartphones for a longer period. Apart from this, the weakening of the economic condition is also affecting this market.
The company has launched a new smartphone Redmi Note 12 Turbo this week. Through this, Redmi has introduced some premium specifications. The company claims that this is the first smartphone with the ‘Redmi 7 Plus Gen 2’ processor. It has features like big display, triple camera setup, 5000mAh battery and 67W charging. Launched in China, this smartphone offers up to 16GB of RAM.
Its 8GB RAM + 256GB storage variant is priced at 1,999 Yuan (roughly Rs. 23,884), 12GB + 256GB at 2,099 Yuan (roughly Rs. 25,083) and 12GB + 512GB at 2,399 Yuan (roughly Rs. 27,600). The company has also brought a 16GB RAM variant, which offers 1TB of storage. Its price is 2,599 yuan (about Rs 31,047). This smartphone has been made available in Carbon Black, Jinghai Blue and Ice Feather White colours. Redmi Note 12 Turbo has triple rear camera setup. The main lens is of 64 megapixels, with optical image stabilization (OIS) support. Its 5,000mAh battery supports 67W fast charging.
