Bixby is Samsung’s new intelligent interface. To access it, one has to press a button on the S8 and S8 Plus. Bixby’s voice function will also work with Samsung’s own apps for features such as Camera, Contacts, Gallery, Messages and Settings. Bixby will become more intelligent about user needs and interests over time.

A variety of biometric technologies are part of the Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus. These include fingerprint scanner, iris scanner and facial recognition. This means that if you want, you can keep the phone safe with fingerprint lock or you will be able to unlock the device just by looking at it.

Samsung did not announce the price of Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus at the event. But Verge has revealed the US price. The Galaxy S8 with Verizon Wireless will cost around Rs 46,700 and the Galaxy S8 Plus will cost around Rs 54,500. What will be the price of the handset in India, it will be revealed during the launch in the local market.
