Simple One electric scooter launched with 212 km range in single charge, 7 inch display and powerful features

Bangalore based startup Simple Energy has launched its new electric scooter Simple One in the Indian market. The Simple One electric scooter is powered by a 5kWh battery that offers a solid range. The weight of this electric scooter is 134 kg and it is a heavy vehicle. Here we are telling you in detail about the features and specifications of this electric scooter.

Simple One Electric Scooter Price

Talking about the price, the ex-showroom price of Simple One electric scooter ranges from Rs 1.45 lakh to Rs 1.50 lakh. Apart from this, Rs 13,000 will have to be paid separately for the 750W charger. The delivery of this scooter will start from June 6. Simple One will be available in Black, Red, Blue and White for color options. Apart from this, red alloy wheel design will be available with dual tone colors such as white and black. However, the thing to note is that for the dual tone color option, a separate payment of Rs 5,000 will have to be made.

Simple One’s power and range

Simple One electric scooter has a 5kWh lithium ion battery. There are two battery packs, one fixed and one removable. The weight of this electric scooter is 134 kg and it is a heavy vehicle. Talking about the range, it is claimed that this scooter can cover a distance of 212km in a single charge. This battery powers a permanent magnet motor that generates 8.5kW of peak power and 72Nm of torque. Talking about the speed, it easily catches the speed of 0 to 40 km in 2.77 seconds. And its top speed is 105 kmph. Simple Energy claims that this scooter can be charged from 0 to 80 percent in just 5 hours 54 minutes. And with the help of a fast charger, it can only charge the scooter up to 80 percent at a rate of 1.5 km/min.

Features of Simple One

Simple One has a 7-inch TFT display that can be connected to the phone via Bluetooth. In this, riders can easily control their navigation and music. The software can be updated via over the air (OTA) update. The scooter offers 4 riding modes, which include Eco, Ride, Dash and Sonic. It gets all-LED lighting and a boot light. The boot capacity of this scooter is 30 liters. After coming in the market, this scooter can compete with Ola S1 Pro, Ather 450X, TVS iQube S, Bajaj Chetak and Vida V1 Pro.
