Tata is now going to launch a camo variant of the smallest SUV Punch.
The Special Variant Edition is expected to get some cosmetic updates.
New Delhi. Tata Motors is known for offering unique special variants of its SUV. After launching the jet variants of Nexon, Harrier and Safari last month, the company is now going to launch the camo variant of its smallest SUV Punch. The new Tata Punch Camo Edition will be launched in India today i.e. on 22 September 2022. Earlier, Tata has officially released its teaser.
The Camo Edition of the Tata Punch will be sold alongside its Kaziranga Edition and the standard model. This SUV was launched in October last year. It is worth noting that Tata’s Camo Edition will make a comeback in India with a punch. Originally it made its debut in 2020 with the Tata Harrier. The special variant edition of the punch is expected to get some cosmetic updates.

SUV will come in new style
In terms of styling, the Tata Punch Camo variant can be launched in the Olive Green paint theme, which Tata called the Majestic Camo Green color for the Harrier. It will also get new body graphics, camo badges on the body panels and black alloy wheels. On the inside, the Punch Camo Edition is expected to get gunmetal gray interior along with Blackstone Matrix trim on the dashboard.

Mechanically, the Tata Punch Camo variant will remain the same as the standard model. It will be powered by a 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine that will generate 84 Bhp and 113 Nm of peak torque. This engine comes with 5-speed MT and AMT. The Tata Punch price in India currently ranges from Rs 5.93 Lakh to Rs 9.49 Lakh ex-showroom.

Tata Punch Safety
The new Tata Punch has become the third Tata car in India after the Nexon and Altroz to receive a full 5-star safety rating for adult safety from the Global NCAP. The small SUV gets all the safety features like ABS with EBD, a brake-away feature, reverse parking sensor with camera, corner stability control, cornering fog lamps, dual airbags and ISOFIX child seat anchors.
