Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has made major changes in its three prepaid recharge plans. The validity of these BSNL prepaid recharge plans has been halved. BSNL has made this change in Rs 74, Rs 75 and Rs 153 plans. These plans used to come with a validity of 180 days earlier. Remember that this government telecom company had reduced the prepaid plan validity of Rs 118, Rs 187 and Rs 399 in Kerala circle last month. BSNL is hoping to increase its revenue by reducing the validity of these prepaid plans. Recently, telecom companies like Airtel and Vodafone also made changes in prepaid plans to increase their profits.

BSNL Tamil Nadu According to its website, the validity of prepaid plans of Rs 74, Rs 75 and Rs 153 will now be 90 days. Earlier these BSNL Prepaid Plans used to come with a validity of 180 days.

According to Telecom TalkThere is no change in the validity of the benefits available with the Rs 74, Rs 75 and Rs 153 prepaid plans. This means that the Rs 74 prepaid plan will continue to offer 2 GB data for 15 days and 100 minutes of voice calls to all domestic networks. The Rs 75 prepaid plan will continue to offer unlimited voice calls and 10GB data with a validity of 15 days. On the other hand, the Rs 153 BSNL prepaid plan offers unlimited voice calls, 1.5 GB data per day and 100 SMS per day with a validity of 28 days.

This change in BSNL’s plan has come into effect from Tuesday itself. It will also be made live in other circles in the coming days.
