It started with Honor 6X and Coolpad Cool 1 Dual and Lenovo Phab 2 Plus handsets. Recently launched Lenovo K8 Note with this feature. Whereas, Micromax made the race even more interesting by launching the Micromax Evok Dual Note for just Rs 9,999. For the convenience of our readers, we have put together a list of such affordable handsets that come with dual rear cameras. The interesting thing is that Gadgets 360 has also reviewed many of these smartphones.
lenovo k8 note
Lenovo K8 Note price starts from Rs.12,999. A variant with 3 GB RAM will be available at this price. Its 4 GB RAM is priced at Rs 13,999 which we have reviewed. Lenovo has given a 13-megapixel primary camera on the back. There is a 5-megapixel depth sensor with it, for the Bokeh effect. During the review, we found the camera app of Lenovo K8 Note very simple. You will not find many customization options. Users can choose between normal mode or depth enabled mode. Photos taken in Normal mode came with details. These pictures had natural colors with less noise. The camera quickly locks focus on the subject. Landscape and macro shots also came out well. In our opinion, there was more detail in the pictures taken outdoors with its camera as compared to other smartphones in this category.
Lenovo K8 Plus
Lenovo’s K8 series this time introduced two smartphones with two rear cameras. Apart from Lenovo K8 Note, Lenovo K8 Plus also comes with this feature. You will get Lenovo K8 Plus for Rs.10,999. Two sensors of 13 megapixels and 5 megapixels will be available in the back of the handset. When switching to depth mode, the second sensor is used to calculate the distance between the subject and the background. The aperture can also be adjusted in real time. The phone is made of metal body and dual cameras and fingerprint sensors have been given on its rear. To take better selfies, the smartphone has an 8-megapixel front camera with aperture F / 2.0, 84-degree wide angle lens and a ‘party’ flash. is also.
Honor 6X
Honor 6X is a reliable smartphone in this price range. The metal body gives a good feel in the hands. The phone looks good too. The Kirin 655 chipset isn’t as fast as the Snapdragon 625 on the Redmi Note 4, but it handles most games and apps with ease.
The most important feature of Honor 6X is the dual camera setup. The second sensor captures depth information. By the way, during the review, we felt that the dual camera setup is just a show off. We were expecting better performance in low light. The battery is so powerful that it will last for a day.
coolpad cool 1 dual
Two 13-megapixel rear cameras have been given in Cool 1 Dual. One of these is a color sensor and the other is used for monochrome data. When used together, you can expect better image quality and low-noise photos in low light. But during use, this pair of cameras did not give expected results every time. Noise is visible in low-light images and detailing is generally very low. Colors got better when Night Mode was switched on, but not by much. In daylight, we did complain of overexposure in landscape and close-up shots at times. Colors were good, but subjects were not sharp.
Lenovo Phab 2 Plus
Lenovo launched the Phab 2 Plus smartphone in November last year. The biggest feature of this phone is the dual rear camera setup given in this phone.
The Lenovo Phab 2 Plus (Review) sports a 13-megapixel camera sensor that comes with laser auto focus and phase detection auto focus. The secondary camera is used for depth, but we did not feel that it made any difference to the quality of the pictures. We tried taking clear and crisp pictures with the help of both the lenses but we could not see any difference. We would recommend you to use HDR mode for landscape photos in daylight. And without it the pictures look pretty dull. Photos from the Phab 2 Plus have good detailing in distant objects, but macro shots are much better.
coolpad cool play 6
Coolpad on Sunday launched its dual rear camera smartphone Cool Play 6 in India. The price of Coolpad Cool Play 6 is Rs 14,999. Its price is higher than other phones but you get 6 GB RAM with two rear cameras. Coolpad Cool Play 6 has two 13-megapixel sensors on the rear, which come with aperture F / 2.0, dual-tone, dual-LED flash. And supports HDR and 4K video. The front of the phone has an 8-megapixel sensor with aperture F / 2.2.
Micromax Evok Dual Note
Micromax launched the Evoque Dual Note smartphone only last week. The important feature of this handset is the two rear cameras equipped with Sony sensors. Micromax Evok Dual Note price in India starts from ₹9,999. It has two RAM variants – 3 GB and 4 GB RAM. Dual rear camera setup comes with 13 megapixels and 5 megapixel sensor. One of these is the Sony IMX258 sensor. Dual tone LED flash is also present with this. Micromax Evok Dual Note sports a 5 megapixel front camera. It is equipped with soft selfie flash, 78.4 wide angle lens and F / 2.0 aperture.
lg x cam
The LG X Cam is also available for less than Rs.15,000. It features a 5.2-inch full-HD In Cell display, 1.14GHz octa-core processor, 2GB of RAM, and 16GB of inbuilt storage. There are two rear cameras of 13 megapixels and 5 megapixels in the handset. Its front camera sensor is of 8 megapixels. Keep in mind that we have not reviewed this smartphone, so we cannot tell anything about the performance of this phone.
