WhatsApp wants to continuously release new features for the convenience of its users. This appears to be the case because every other day information about testing of a new feature comes to the fore on WhatsApp.
Let us introduce you to such features which are expected to be launched soon.
gif image support
After the support for GIF images was provided on the Viber messaging platform, there were reports that GIF image support is being tested on WhatsApp as well. Actually, this feature was added in a beta version of WhatsApp on iOS. Once this feature is implemented, it will autoplay when you share the link of the gif image in the app. User will be able to save gif image to camera roll. It will also be possible to save them like normal photos. The feature of direct reply to GIF image message and 3D touch function in GIF image has also been provided.
Video call
A glimpse of the video call was seen on the beta app of WhatsApp in the month of May. The video calling feature was spotted in the Android update (v2.16.80) of WhatsApp beta through the Google Play beta testing program. However, this feature was not working at that time. But it could definitely be accessed. It is expected that this feature will be introduced soon for the common users.
Call back and voicemail feature

Users signed in to the Google Play beta testing program can now use these two new features of WhatsApp. New call back and voicemail features have been given in the new version v2.16.189 of WhatsApp Android app. Remember that the first glimpse of both these features was found in the translation request in the month of April.
can get new font

Instant messaging service WhatsApp is testing new fonts in beta versions for Android and iOS. The name of this font of WhatsApp is ‘FixedSys’ and Microsoft’s font also has the same name which has been very much liked by the user. At the moment it is not clear when this font will be launched for Android and iOS users. WhatsApp v2.16.179 (beta version) for Android is available to users through Google Play’s beta program. The new font can be seen on this version.
Two useful features related to group chat
Chatting in groups could get even more convenient in the coming times, as the company is testing the Mentions feature. Apart from this, adding someone to the group will also be easier. Testing is also going on on the group invite link. Both the new features have been spotted on the beta version of the WhatsApp iOS app.
Keep in mind that a glimpse of these features has been found on beta testing. These features are not necessarily offered to the general user. But there is nothing wrong in having hope.
