How does the voice-based contactless recharge option at retail stores work?
Usually, whenever a consumer visits a retail store for a mobile recharge, the shopkeeper first hands over a phone in which the consumer enters his prepaid number and returns it to the shopkeeper. After this, the shopkeeper again takes that phone in his hands and then completes the recharge process. However, this new voice based contactless recharge option of this recharge has been made completely safe. In this process, the consumer has to simply speak his number, Vodafone Idea’s Smart Contact Retailer app will capture his voice through Google Voice Assistant and automatically type the number for recharge.
