Redmi 7 vs Redmi Y3 price in India, launch offers
Two variants of Redmi 7 based on RAM and storage in India launch have been done. The price of 2 GB RAM and 32 GB storage variants of Redmi 7 is Rs 7,999. Its 3 GB RAM and 32 GB storage variants can be purchased for Rs 8,999. The first sale of Redmi 7 will be held on April 29 at 12 noon in Amazon India, Mi.com and Mi Home stores.

On the other hand, the Redmi Y3’s worth 9,999 starts at Rs. 3 GB RAM and 32 GB storage variants will be sold at this price. There is another 4 GB RAM and 64 GB storage of Redmi Y3. Its price is Rs 11,999. The first sale of the smartphone will be held on April 30 at 12 noon.
Talking about the launch offers available with Redmi Y3, Airtel will get 4G data up to 1,120 GB. On the other hand, with Redmi 7 you will get Jio double data for 4 years and cashback of up to Rs 2,400.
Redmi Y3 vs Redmi 7 Design
The design of both Redmi Y3 and Redmi 7 is almost identical to each other. The main difference between the two is that the Redmi 7 is equipped with Aura Smock Gradient Finish, while the Redmi Y3 on the other hand is equipped with Aura Prism Gradient Finish. It is worth noting that the black color variant of both the smartphones does not have a gradient finish.
Redmi 7 has two gradient color options – Lunar Red and Comet Blue. There is also an Eclipse Black variant. Xiaomi Redmi Y3 has been launched in Prime Black, Bold Red and Elegant Red colours. Apart from this, the dimensions of both the smartphones (158.73×75.58×8.47 mm) are also the same. Both the phones have the same waterdrop display notch, rear fingerprint sensor and the same weight (180 grams).
Redmi 7 vs Redmi Y3 Specifications
Both Redmi smartphones are equipped with dual-SIM (Nano) and microSD card slot. Both phones run on MIUI 10 based on Android Pie. Both Redmi 7 and Redmi Y3 have a 6.26-inch HD + (720×1520 pixels) display, its aspect ratio is 19: 9. Not only this, the same processor has also been given in both – Qualcomm Snapdragon 632 processor.
Now let’s talk about the difference between the two. The Redmi 7 smartphone comes in two RAM options – 2GB and 3GB. Redmi Y3 also has two RAM options – 3 GB and 4 GB.
Now let’s talk about camera setup. Redmi Y3 and Redmi 7 have a similar dual rear camera setup. On the back there is a 12-megapixel primary sensor with F / 2.2 aperture. With this a depth sensor of 2 megapixels has been given. The rear camera setup is equipped with phase detection autofocus (PDAF), electronic image stabilization and dual LED flash module.
You will get to see the difference in the selfie camera of both. A 32-megapixel selfie camera has been given on the front panel of Redmi Y3. At the same time, an 8-megapixel front camera has been given for selfie in Redmi 7.
Now let’s talk about storage. The only storage option in Redmi 7 is 32 GB. Redmi Y3 also has two options for inbuilt storage – 32 GB and 64 GB. Both the variants will support microSD card up to 512 GB.

For connectivity in Redmi 7, the handset includes 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth version 5.0, GPS / A-GPS, USB, Infrared (IR) blaster and 3.5mm headphone jack. Both the smartphones have IR blaster feature.
