Accordion to BMWBLOG, a 2023 market launch is scheduled for October 11.

Sport coupes will be assembled at BMW's San Luis Potosi Plant in Mexico from next spring onwards.

This new M2 will combine the M4's engine and gearboxes with a smaller, lighter body.

Square air intakes are the most obvious change over the M240i and lesser 2 Series Coupe models.

In early tests with journalists, BMW provided prototypes with the newer infotainment system for the 2023 model year.

BMW is currently working on a 3.0 CSL tribute, which will follow the M2 shortly.

An M4 CSL will have a retro-styled body, manual transmission, and rear wheel drive - all for $750,000.
