Although old rumors suggested that Apple Car might launch as early as 2025, it is still unclear how far along its development is.

After Apple enlisted a Lamborghini executive to lead the project, it doesn't seem the work will slow down anytime soon.

Mark Gurman reports Apple has hired Luigi Taraborrelli, a 20-year veteran of Lamborghini.

It appears that he will play a key role in shaping Apple's car design.

Aventador, Huracan, and Urus have all been among the Lamborghini models Taraborrelli worked on.

As a chassis engineer, he was responsible for overseeing vehicle handling, suspension, steering, brakes, and wheels development for the automaker.

Apple Car is said to lack the capability to allow a human driver to take control, all of which are pretty essential parts.
