Asus released the ROG Crosshairs X670E Gene microATX motherboard for AMD's 'Raphael' processors.
It has similar features and overclocking abilities as other ROG motherboards as it is part of the ROG Crosshair lineup.
The ROG Crosshair X670E Gene is equipped with a 16+2-phase VRM with 110A power ratings on each phase.
There is also a PCIe 5.0 x16 slot for graphics cards, an M.2 slot for SSDs, and a PCIe x1 slot for add-in cards.
A ROG Gen-Z.2 card will also be included in the mainboard if more than one M.2 drive is needed.
Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth, Ethernet, USB 4, and USB 3.2 Gen 2x2 connectors are all provided, along with 7.1-channel audio.
A live event demonstrated Asus' ROG Crosshair X670E Gene motherboard, so we can expect it to debut sooner rather than later.
How much is AMD's X670E platform in general? This is a matter of hundreds of dollars, so only time will tell.
