Harvick Wins Second Consecutive Race Despite Driving Blunder

As he navigated traffic on the .75-mile Richmond circuit last week, Kevin Harvick won the race.

His 60th win was at Richmond for the fourth time since 2013.

He is tied for ninth in career victories with Kyle Busch and is still within reach of his third championship.

He started the afternoon in 13th place and with 66 laps remaining took the lead in the No.4 Stewart-Haas Racing Ford.

In the closing laps, Harvick was threatened by Christopher Bell and Chris Buescher, who finished second and third, respectively.

There was only a 0.441 second gap over Bell.

He blamed his shifting mistake down the front straightaway for letting Bell close in on him.
