Cristiano Ronaldo

A stunner was Cristiano Ronaldo's sight during Sheffield United's pre-season training camp in Lisbon: he was training alone next to them.

It was observed by Sheffield United - who were also in the Iberian peninsula - that Manchester United's Cristiano Ronaldo trained alone in Lisbon.

He wants Champions League football once more this summer, according to reports.

United are currently on a tour of Australia under Erik ten Hag, which Ronaldo missed due to 'family reasons'.

'Lisbon's equivalent of St James' Park' shocked the Blades, as the Daily Mail reports.

Sheffield did not ask Ronaldo if he wanted to participate in the kickabout, according to the report.

After a disappointing return to Manchester last year, Ronaldo is reportedly looking to leave Old Strafford this summer.

He left United for a Champions League spot after United failed to qualify - and it is believed that being able to sit at Europe's top table is what influenced his decision.

In the event that a suitable offer comes his way, Ronaldo has asked United to release him.
