Two Mercedes-Benz electric cars have been recalled as part of a growing list.
Around 7,810 electric vehicles worldwide are being recalled due to faulty towing devices.
EQS, referred to as a sedan, is actually a liftback or hatchback, but it is referred to as an EQE sedan.
In Germany, only 1,746 of these electric vehicles are affected.
So Mercedes-Benz is recalling the remaining 6,000 units across the globe.
Problems with towing devices might be caused by the depth of screw threads.
Auto, Motor und Sport in Germany provided more detailed information about the recall.
Screw connections may loosen if the threads are faulty and the screw cannot penetrate deeply enough.
Due to faulty ground connections, the EQS is already recalled in the United States.
