375 airbags are being recalled by Nissan because of thefts or collisions.

A Takata airbag inflator was noted to be among the worst suppliers in the automotive industry.

Passenger-side airbag inflators may rupture when exposed to high humidity, high temperatures, and high temperature cycling for prolonged periods of time.

It is also possible for the driver-side airbag inflator to rupture over time due to a reduction in propellant density.

Those whose airbags are affected will receive a first-class mail notice to replace them once the final population has been identified.

At the moment, owner notification is not clear when it will take place.

Since Takata Corporation owed too much compensation in the United States, it filed for bankruptcy in June 2017.

A Michigan-based company, Key Safety Systems, acquired the surviving assets and merged them with Joyson Safety Systems.
