Micromax Infinity N11 8,999 will be sold for Rs. The sale of both the smartphones will start from December 25 in important offline and online stores. At the launch event, we spent some time with both the Micromax smartphones. How did we get these smartphones at first glance? Let’s know…
The Infinity N11 and Infinity N12 are primarily made with plastic. The phones look very similar in appearance. The power and volume buttons are on the right side of both the phones. Their position is good and gives good feedback. Micro-USB port and headphone jack are given at the bottom of the phone. The SIM tray is on the top. There are two slots for nano SIM and a separate slot for microSD card.
Due to the curved edges, both the phones fit easily in the hand. Despite having a 4000 mAh battery, both the phones are not very heavy either. Well, it’s too early to hear any final verdict on the build quality right now. But according to us, the phones look a little cheaper than the phones already sold in the market.
The back panel of the Micromax Infinity N12 comes with a glossy finish. It is reflective and fingerprints are easily left on it. The phone will come in Blue Lagoon, Velvet Red and Voila Gradient Finish colours. All these three variants come with gradient finish. In comparison, the Infinity N11 sports a matte back panel. you in this phone Honor 8X ,review) will be remembered.
Micromax Infinity N11 and Infinity N12 flaunt 6.19-inch HD+ (720×1500 pixels) displays. They are equipped with 18.9: 9 aspect ratios. In the short time spent with the handset, we felt that we liked the brightness and color rending of both the phones. But the HD+ resolution disappointed. Because of this many times the text and pictures were not looking perfect.
Both the smartphones are equipped with MediaTek Helio P22 processor. Infinity N12 has 3GB RAM and Infinity N11 has 2GB RAM. Helio P22 processor is made from 12nm process. Micromax has claimed that it has worked in partnership with MediaTek to improve the performance of both the phones.
We will tell in detail in the review on the performance of the phone. But at first glance we are satisfied with the phone. However, giving only 2 GB of RAM in Infinity N11 is not good news for multitasking. However, the final decision on this will be given in the review.
Both the smartphones run on Android 8.1 Oreo, which has been slightly customized by Micromax. The user interface is very smooth. Micromax has promised that the Android Pie update will be rolled out for both the smartphones in the next 45 days.
Both the smartphones are equipped with 32 GB storage. You can use microSD card up to 128 GB. Micromax has also made big claims about the battery of both the phones, which will be investigated during the review.
Infinity N11 and Infinity N12 come with AI enhanced rear cameras. They will be able to set brightness, contrast and saturation on their own.
Both phones are equipped with 13 + 5 megapixel dual rear camera setup. The Infinity N11 has an 8-megapixel selfie camera and the Infinity N12 has a 16-megapixel selfie shooter. You’ll find modes like Beauty, Bokeh, Panorama and Time Lapse in the Camera app.
It will not be easy for Micromax to get back the old reputation once again in the market. But the company’s co-founder told Gadgets 360 that he is ready for the long haul. With the Infinity N11 and Infinity N12, Micromax has presented a strong challenge on paper. Sadly, there is no unique feature in these phones. If seen, brands like Asus, Realme, Honor and Xiaomi have launched very strong products in the price range of Rs 10,000. In such a situation, the road for Micromax is not easy.
We will be coming soon with a detailed review of the Micromax Infinity N11 and Micromax Infinity N12.
