On paper, the new smartphones come with bigger displays, better resolutions, powerful processors, more RAM, better cameras and bigger batteries. Let us know in which respects the Galaxy A5 (2016) and Galaxy A7 (2016) are better than their older versions.
1. Display
The Samsung Galaxy A5 (2016) will come with a 4.7-inch display. Remember that the 4.5-inch screen was used in the Galaxy A5. There is no change in the Galaxy A7 (2016) in this regard. Like its predecessor, this handset will also come equipped with a 5.5-inch display.

2. Screen Resolution
The Galaxy A5 comes with HD (720×1280 pixels) resolution while the Galaxy A5 (2016) uses a full-HD (1080×1920 pixels) resolution display. Once again, the Galaxy A7 (2016) remains unchanged. The older version of this handset also comes with full-HD (1080×1920 pixels) resolution display.
3. RAM
The Galaxy A7 (2016) has 3 GB of RAM as compared to 2 GB of RAM on the Galaxy A7. Whereas, the Galaxy A5 and Galaxy A5 (2016) come with 2GB of RAM.

4. High resolution camera and OIS
The biggest feature of the camera of the new smartphone of Galaxy A series is optical image stabilization. Galaxy A5 (2016) and Galaxy A7 (2016) are equipped with this feature. Both the smartphones have 13-megapixel rear and 5-megapixel front cameras.
5. Android Version
All the smartphones in the Galaxy A (2016) range will run on Android 5.1 Lollipop out-of-the-box. The older generation handsets came with Android 4.4 KitKat. Samsung has not yet told when these handsets will get the update of Android 6.0 Marshmallow.

6. Storage
Like the Galaxy A5 and Galaxy A7, the latest versions also come with 16GB of inbuilt storage. However, microSD cards up to 128 GB can now be used with these handsets. Earlier only cards up to 64 GB were supported.
7. Battery
The Galaxy A5 (2016) is equipped with a 2900 mAh battery as compared to the 2300 mAh battery used in the Galaxy A5. The Galaxy A7 (2016), on the other hand, packs a 3300mAh battery, while the older version packs a 2600mAh battery.
Looking at these upgrades, it is clear that Samsung has tried to present a much better product to the user than the older version. But the user will also have to bear its loss. Because they will have to pay more money to buy these handsets.
