Xiaomi has a teaser India launch of Redmi Note 12 5G series has been confirmed through. The company has called it Super Note and has told that it will have triple cameras in the rear. Earlier it was being said that the series would be launched in India through the Poco rebranded series. But the head of Poco India, Himanshu Tandon denied this news. The series will be launched in India under the Redmi branding only. It was said in the recent leaks that in this series the company can offer models for less than Rs 15,000.
There is no information about which variants the company will launch in this series in India. But the specifications given in the models launched in China can definitely be estimated from them. Top model in the series Note 12 Pro+ Comes in the form of which a primary camera of 200 megapixels has been given. It has an 8 megapixel ultrawide angle lens and a 2 megapixel macro lens.
The phone has a 6.67-inch OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and also supports HDR10+ and Dolby Vision. The phone will also have support for 120W fast charging with a 5,000mAh battery. The company has given Dimensity 1080 chipset in Redmi Note 12 Pro and Note 12 Pro + while Snapdragon 4 Gen 1 SoC has been given in the base model. Let us tell you that these specifications are given in Chinese models. Some changes can be seen in the models launched in India.
Two variants of Redmi Note 12 Pro + are also seen in the Redmi Note 12 series launched in China. In this, one is called Trend Edition and the other is called Discovery Edition or Explorer Edition. In Discovery Edition, the company is offering 210W fast charging feature. Whether or not these special editions will be launched in India is yet to be confirmed by the brand.
